What are the technical specifications of the ProofMark System?

The following are the platform specifications for implementing the ProofMark system.

Supported server platforms Windows 2000/2003 server. Ubuntu Linux (planned).

Java platform requirements Java runtime 1.4.2 or later.

Database support Oracle Server, DB2, SQL Server

Protocol requirements HTTP 1.1 and XML

Security/crypto components JSSE, SHA1, SHA 256, SHA 384, SHA512, RSA, ECC (planned)

Recommended hardware Multi-processor Intel X86 compatible systems.

Client API Java, native COM/.NET, XML-over-HTTP

The ProofMark client API provides a client-side application-programming interface to the ProofMark server for issuing and verifying ProofMark certificates. In the current release, the client API is implemented in Java, but implementations in any other language or system that supports HTTP socket programming are possible.
